The Après Sweat Walk Club

There’s something really special about getting a group of people together with nowhere to be except outside, moving and catching up.

Our first Après Sweat Walk brought together so many of my favorite people: longtime friends, new friends, SoulCycle riders, Barry’s members, and people I was meeting for the very first time. We walked the coast, talked about everything and nothing, laughed a lot, and ended the morning around a table for brunch. Exactly the kind of day I want Après Sweat to be about.

Community has always been at the heart of what I’m building. And lately, I’ve been thinking about how much community can exist outside of a studio, a gym, a membership, or even a specific workout. You don’t need a membership to show up for each other. You just need a reason to gather.

For me, these are the people who show up. They show up for the classes, the walks, the events, the crazy ideas, the new projects, and all the goals and dreams I keep dreaming up. And I hope Après Sweat can be a place where we do the same for one another. Cheering each other on, meeting new people, trying something new, and making ordinary weekends feel a little more special.

That’s what I want the Après Sweat Walk Club to be: a collaborative, welcoming excuse to get outside and spend time together. Come solo. Bring a friend. Bring your partner. Meet someone new. You don’t have to know anyone beforehand, and you definitely don’t have to be a member of anything.

Just show up, move a little, and stay for the social part.

Looking for a Fitness Community in San Diego?

If you’re looking for a fitness community in San Diego, I hope Après Sweat can be one of those places where you find your people.

San Diego makes it pretty easy to get outside and move! From coastal walks in North County to beach workouts, neighborhood strolls, group fitness classes and brunches that somehow turn into three-hour conversations. But finding a community you genuinely want to keep showing up for? That’s the good stuff.

Après Sweat meetups are meant to make that a little easier. You don’t need to belong to a specific gym or studio, have a certain fitness level, or show up with a built-in group of friends. Our San Diego fitness meetups are about moving your body, getting outside, meeting people and making the kind of connections that extend beyond the workout.

Whether you’re looking for a San Diego walking group, a new way to stay active, or simply an excuse to meet some good people on a Saturday morning, consider this your invitation.

Come for the movement. Stay for the community.

And this is only the beginning. More Après Sweat Walk Club events are coming soon! Different neighborhoods, different routes, different people, same idea: Movement · Community · Connection... or just show up for the socializing.

Because the best part of Après Sweat has never really been the workout.

It’s the people you meet along the way.
